you should aware: .info Domain Name, Afilias

Juts take awhile to read through the article from SEOBook.com
“Afilias had submitted a proposal to ICANN for the .INFO gTLD that would allow them to shut down domain names at will if they consider them abusive. The proposal was approved.

The problem they have is not going to be solved by this strategy. The value of high end .info domains was just diminished because now the registry can take them away from you for anything that they consider abusive, and in this day and age it is easy for someone else to spam for you in order to make you look shady. Given that, who wants to invest $20,000 in buying and building out a premium .info name? Probably only the people who are unaware of what Afilias just did. ”

And here from George Kirikos

“This is the largest synchronized security update in the history of the
Internet, and is the result of hard work and dedication across dozens
of organizations.”

“Using this issue, an attacker could easily take over portions of the
Internet and redirect users to arbitrary, and malicious, locations. For
example, an attacker could target an Internet Service Provider (ISP),
replacing the entire web — all search engines, social networks, banks,
and other sites — with their own malicious content.”

This is exactly why registry operators should NEVER be judge, jury and
executioners when it comes to alleged domain abuse, as they could
inflict damage upon innocent victims. Read the advisory — ANY name
server (and thus all the domains on that nameserver) could have been compromised.

So if your poor .info domains was taken away without any reason then you know why. They suspended 12 .info domains from my account just becasue of nothing. No warning, not provide the spam messeage, no considering whether the “spam/abusive activities” it comes from my side or just from the actual other spammer

My advise: stay away from .info, redirect 302 all .info to safer ltd such as .com, .net, .org either .biz
